Engagement Ads Done Right: Zola's OOH Success with PJX Media

December 23, 2022

Zola teamed up with Project X to blanket New York City in engagement vibes.

From an article published in Digiday about Zola’s recent OOH buy we know that “engagement season” is upon us and lasts from Thanksgiving through Valentine’s Day. Zola’s CMO Victoria Vaynberg stated that “This year, we wanted to take it one step further to blanket New York with as much OOH as we can (as) this holiday season is probably the real return of tourists to New York for the holidays.”

Project X assisted Zola in dominating Rockefeller Center (to get the attention of couples checking out the Christmas tree) and also posted media on subway station digital units throughout the city, near Bryant Park (to capture couples coming into the city from Grand Central Station), in SOHO, and throughout the city on digital taxi tops and wildpostings.

Matt Zucker, from brand consultancy Prophet, states in the Digiday article that Out of Home advertising “can have a strong impact for brands, especially online brands that may be looking to “reassure” customers that they are a real brand. “Anyone can buy a Facebook ad but OOH seems more substantial.”

Matt Schutzman, Senior Director of New Business at Project X, states, “Zola's unique strategy to meet consumers at those life changing moments is why they're a leader in the space.”

There is no doubt that if a soon-to-be couple is visiting New York City for the holidays, Zola’s presence is sure to be a win-win for couples and the brand.
