This privacy policy (“Policy”) explains when, why and how Personal Information is collected, used and disclosed by Project X Media Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Project X”, “we”, “us”) including with respect to your access and use of this website, which is owned and operated by Project X located at pjxmedia.com (the “Website”).  This Policy does not apply to information about businesses or other non-individual users.  If you do not agree to this Policy, please do not access or use the Website.

Our Policy may be modified from time to time and we will alert you that changes have been made by indicating on our Policy the date it was last updated.  You should review this Privacy Policy periodically and keep up with any modifications. 

What Is Personal Information?

“Personal information” is information that reasonably allows us to identify you, your device or your household, such as a name, address, telephone number, mobile number or e-mail address.  Personal information does not include aggregate or de-identified information we collect about the use of the Website (which does not include information about an identified individual or an individual who is reasonably identifiable).  Our Policy does not restrict or limit our collection, use or disclosure of aggregate, de-identified, or information that relates to a business and not an individual.

What Personal Information Do We Collect?

User Personal Information

We may collect and store certain information you voluntarily provide to us, such as when you call us, send us an email, or complete the “contact” form on the Website.  This information may include your name, telephone number, email address, and any information you opt to provide to us.  This information may be sent to servers located in the United States as well as other countries around the world.

In addition, we may receive information that you voluntarily provide to our vendor, List Partners LLC, also known as “Winmo.”  Information that you provide to Winmo is governed by their Privacy & Cookies Notice. Please ensure that you check Winmo’s notice and notices included in any other Winmo website(s) you may use from time to time to review the then-current policy and to update your preferences. 

Device Identifiable Information

We automatically collect and store certain information when you use the Website, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, your operating system, the browser type, device identifier, the address of a referring website and your activity on the Website.  We treat this information as Personal Information unless it is aggregated or de-identified or is otherwise unable to be associated with a particular individual or household.

We may also automatically collect and store certain information through the use of “cookies” or “web beacons.”  When you visit the Website, we may assign your computer one or more cookies to facilitate access to the Website and to personalize your online experience.  Through the use of a cookie, we also may automatically collect information about your online activity on the Website, such as the web pages you visit, the links you click, and the searches you conduct.

Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies.  If you choose to decline cookies, please note that you may not be able to sign in or use some of the interactive features offered through our Website.  

We may also include web beacons and other similar technologies in promotional or other e-mail messages or newsletters to determine whether messages have been opened and acted upon.  The information we obtain in this manner enables us to customize the Website for our visitors, to deliver targeted advertisements and to measure the overall effectiveness of our online advertising, content, programming or other activities.

Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” option, which allows you to signal to operators of websites that you do not want them to track your online activities.  The Website does not currently support Do Not Track requests.

We will not share the Personal Information we collect from you through the Website or our services with third parties, except as described in our Policy or as otherwise disclosed to you as permitted by law.  For example, we share Personal Information as follows:

We do not have any responsibility for any Personal Information you provide directly to any third parties.

The Website may contain links to other sites.  Any Personal Information you provide on the linked pages is provided directly to that third party and is subject to that third party’s Policy.  Our Policy does not apply to such linked sites, and we are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of these sites or any other sites that are linked to from the Website.

How Do We Store and Secure Personal Information?

We store Personal Information on computer databases and/or in hard copy and will take reasonable commercial physical and electronic security measures to protect your Personal Information in an effort to prevent loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.

Please be aware, however, that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.  

What are My Rights to My Information?

Your California Privacy Rights

In addition, if you are a California resident, then you also have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA”) regarding your Personal Information.  We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your California data privacy rights.  Unless permitted by law, we will not deny you goods or services; charge you different prices or rates for goods or services; provide you a different level or quality of goods or services; or suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

Right to Know

You have the right to know and see what Personal Information we have collected about you over the past 12 months, including:

  • The categories of Personal Information we have collected about you;

  • The categories of sources from which the Personal Information is collected;

  • The business or commercial purpose for collecting your Personal Information;

  • The categories of third parties with whom we have shared your Personal Information; and

  • The specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you.

Right to Delete

Subject to certain exceptions provided by CCPA, you have the right to request that we delete the Personal Information we have collected from you (and direct our service providers to do the same).

  • provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected Personal Information or an authorized representative; and

  • describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

We will not be able to respond to your request or provide you with specific pieces of Personal Information if we cannot verify your identity and authority to make the request.

Sales of Personal Information

We do not “sell” (as defined in the CCPA) any Personal Information.

Children’s Personal Information

You must be at least 18 years old to have our permission to use the Website.  Our policy is that we do not knowingly collect, use or disclose any Personal Information about visitors that are under 18 years of age.
