What would we be without our Moms? They set the tone to every day and basically to our lives. Moms are so adaptable. Thinking back through our history, it’s incredible what Moms handle on a daily basis!
One version of Mom I will always be in awe of is “Vacation Mom.” When we would go to a local beach cottage on vacation, Vacation Mom would get all of our clothes ready to go and have a week’s worth of meals packed in a cooler (because she still cooked breakfast and lunch even on vacation). All I had to do was grab the beach toys and fishing gear and we were off to meet our aunts, uncles and cousins at the beach. While on vacation, you could ask Vacation Mom for anything and she always had it: Beach towel - check! Sunglasses - check! Noxzema for sunburn - check!
So at this time of the year, we just want to say Thank You Mom to all of the moms who have been in our lives! Thanks for being all of the many different Moms we needed growing up. We love you!
