Maximizing ROI: OOH Advertising Channel Tactics

As we near the official start of Summer, we will be publishing our newsletter on our “summer schedule” of once per month. You will see us publishing more often again in the Fall. Enjoy your summer!

The Project X Newsletter: Vol. LVII

Memorial Day weekend is right around the corner and it is time to honor and celebrate the lives we lost in active military service. We remember those who sacrificed their lives in order to fight for our country, some of which were Pulitzer Prize winners or received Medals of Honor.

There are a number of ways we can remember such as visiting memorials, going to a parade, or hosting a family gathering. Don’t be afraid to also ask your family members questions about your personal family history. You might find out something you never knew about a member of your family who served in the military.. Even if you do not have family members that were in the military, you can always read a book or watch a documentary about military history to brush up on some knowledge around the holiday.

Although all of this information is serious and important to remember, it is also important to remember to have fun (and be safe)! Wear your fun red, white, and blue outfit, and enjoy spending time with your loved ones. (If you are in an area with high COVID rates, please be sure to test yourself before any gathering!) Have a family and friends BBQ and make it a weekend to remember.

Out-of-Home Spotlight: OOH Use Within Other Advertising Mediums

If you work in the OOH space, you get as excited as we do when you see our medium used in other forms of advertising. OOH is most often used in television ads to amplify a selling point or call to action. It’s amazing how often this happens! Most recently we noticed this phenomenon in Charles Schwab and Progressive television ads over the past few years. The Schwab ads sometimes show a huge wallscape or an aerial banner and the Progressive ads show a sign spinner and a billboard, reinforcing the major point of the ad. Next time you watch tv (with ads) take a look to see if you can spot any OOH formats used prominently.

Have you seen other examples of OOH used in television or other  ads? Reach out and let us know at hello@pjxmedia.com.

In case you were not aware, we can put your company or client on a huge wallscape, billboard, in a sports stadium or on any OOH format just like you see in the ads below. Contact us anytime.
